Venture into the gardens. A pale paradise. Serene in the daylight, silence slithers through the atmosphere. One is at peace, the silence engulfs you in a warm embrace. The lack of life is overbearing as the daylight seeps through the roofed forest. The sun begins to set, it slowly hides its glimmering face. Fearful of the night, fearful of the cold embrace. The forest now grows eerie. The serene silence now feels uneasy. You are no longer alone, hopelessly watched by a million glowing eyes, a dangerous amber. In the shadows roam a wooded figure, hollow as a tree a heart that rots. Do not look away. Do not look away.

it has the name "garden" :/ that's very offputting. im not saying it has to be vibrant but i has to at least contain more than like four blocks
I'm with you on this one. They can definitely make a monotonous yet haunting forest while including more than 1 type of wood and 1 type of moss.
Tbf I’d disagree with the whole lush thing. The whole point of the biome is for it to be very eerie and run down and for it to look vibrant and lush would take away from the environment and how spooky it’s supposed to be

your descriptions are SO good!
Sometimes I have no idea what I’m writing, I just use a bunch of language techniques and hope it sounds good xD
i hate it but thats just me, its just too bland and it should be more lush, it really just looks like a thirsty dark oak forest and the creaking is just a recolor of an old warden design-

What about the weeping angel episode? I feel like that's what they based the Creaking off of. Don't ask if I watch the show too, this is literally the one and only episode I saw...
It’s definitely based on the whole weeping angel idea.
