It had been two days since Skypaw's dream, but she hadn't thought about it much. Now, she was pouncing at Rabbitpaw, Rosenose's apprentice, who was about three moons younger than her. She couldn't see Blacknose, but she knew he was watching. If she won this, maybe he would cut her some slack for once.
Rabbitpaw yelped in alarm, she pushed him to the ground and whacked his cheek, claws sheathed.

the both of them.
Skypaw didn't move. Whiteheart's words had stung like someone was poking their claws straight into Skypaw's heart.
<She's been like this since she was a kit. There's only so much I can do for her.>
She felt like running away, into the woods, so fast Whiteheart couldn't run after her to come up with some stupid thistle-fluff excuse on how she didn't mean what she said.. but she was rooted to the spot. Pangs of loneliness and anger made her want to vomit, she could feel herself unsheathing her claws and digging them into the ground.
Rosenose had managed to separate Whiteheart and Blacknose by now, and Skypaw saw the warrior shoot a glance of pity at her, but just looked away and padded off.

's nonsense.> Skypaw thought. <She's just like all the rest, no one seems to care what I think. And I'm only an apprentice. What am I going to do?>
She shook her head to clear it. Maybe things would turn up for her when she was a warrior..

since she was a kit, Blacknose. There's only so much I can do for her! She should know better than to play so rough with an apprentice half her age."
Skypaw was watching silently, she saw Blacknose unsheathe his claws with a growl and swipe at Whiteheart's muzzle, but Rosenose intervened at that moment. She redirected Blacknose's blow into thin air, and he whipped around.
"What's going on here?" Rosenose demanded, "You two are Clanmates, for StarClan's sake! There's no point in getting into petty squabbles everything someone makes a mistake. So Skypaw was a little too rough with Rabbitpaw, she knows now not to do it again. Whiteheart, you should be explaining that to her, not arguing about it with her father. And Blacknose, you should quit causing problems!" Rosenose finished, glaring at
