He is an amazing character DC comics doesn't seem to know they have. He lives in Bludhaven, other wise known as Gotham's sister city. He is a descendent from the ancient Templar order and now fights crime, and at some point even becomes Batman's successor.

Most chaotic-good characters do it for the money or other personal reasons. Azrael is more religious and brutal so I don't know.

unlike other characters i dont think he's heroic often enough to be an anti-hero or villainous often enough to be a anti-hero, he's like the weird in between of the in between.

dude i love azrael SO much (i learnt him from arkham and knightfall, so im not as big of a fan as others), he's def in my top 10 favourite Batman villains!
