I actually hate it when random details start looking like they’re glowing with my tint, because it just looks so off with the rest of the skin.
it’s never my intention to make them look like they’re glowing, I’m just trying to make sure the colors don’t blend together.

I’m very surprised you haven’t done him earlier yet, though.
and I might already have an idea for his counter, but it may change..
For the record, I think the "glowing" looks great most of the times.
Yeah, avoiding blending can be DIFFICULT. I struggle with it fairly often, especially when my shading style is higher contrast than most.

I'd say Rachel is the best counter for Faelynn, but she /is/ the sister of a starting character, just like Everly, and as you say, Danielle does have a backpack and flowers just like Faelynn.

Speaking of, you did really well on all the accessories here. I really like the hat, the flowers, and of course the backpack! You're great at adapting them to your style!

I hate to break it to you, but bright colours ALWAYS look like they're glowing in your style lol. Especially the pinks, like Michael's flower crown and Emily's backpack.

A certain blond haired boy with a backpack and sunglasses will be up next in a few days! Start thinking about who you'll counter him with!
