This is a creepypasta minecraft entity.
The distorted mask might sound like an object but is a living entity. It floats around and latches onto players to take control of his or her body.
If the distorted mask is in your world, the only sign of it is missing loot in temples. This is because it tries to use the loot to strengthen itself. Thus, this entity is commonly found on desert biomes.
