Ali looked at the dogs playing below in the empty pool. Her mom had just uncovered it and cleaned it, so they could play in it over the summer. The Community Pet Club was having a meeting at her house, so all the animals were over here.
Ali watched Fish Sticks, Bone Digger, Snoopy, Tongue Buddy, Toebeans, and Salmon Scales play in the shallow part of the pool.

"oh, animals."

"I've fought plenty of orange cats!" Tongue Buddy yelled as Snoopy slipped on a glob of slobber on the dirt.
"OW!" yelped Snoopy. Bone looked back at Snoopy and crashed into a cliff that had 'suddenly' appeared in front of him.
Fish Sticks stopped just before the cliff edge. His mentor, Toebean, jumped down from the overhang and looked at the pitiful dogs.
"Just leave them," he said in a scathing voice. "They are dogs."

"AHHHHHHH!!!" yelped Snoopy and turned tail.
"Wait up!" Bone growled.
"HEY!" Fish Sticks ran to catch up with the dogs. "DON'T YOU WISH TO FIGHT?"
"why are you running?" asked Snoopy's father, Tongue Buddy. "don't you have any sort of pride?"
"ORANGE-" Snoopy panted. "CAT-"

-DOGS-

"this is so fun!!" Snoopy said to his best friend, Bone Digger as they walked into battle. Of course, they hadn't even started fighting yet...

"Ooo look at that cat!" said Bone as he pointed to an orange cat. "Hm, should we fight tHaT oNe?"

"He looks newwww," said Snoopy, but the orange cat was already coming up to them.
"DOGS!!!" said the strange orange cay. "HOW DARE YOU INVADE OUT LAND!!! FISH STICKS THE MIGHTY WILL DEFEND HIS TERRITORY!!"

"...okay," said Snoopy, smiling and licking his lips. "what'd you say about fish sticks??"

"I think that be his name," Bone murmured to Snoopy. "erm.. I'm scared of orange cat."

"MEOW! FOR TOEBEANS AND FOR MY LEADER, SALMON SCALES!!" said Fish Sticks and charged at the doggs.
