With a blast of green magic, the professor successfully knocked the door down, to reveal my captor, frozen on the floor, Mango in sleeping my arms, and me, pointing my wand at him. "Ah, Aiden! What a pleasant surprise!" the professor said with fake politeness. "Professor Flame," I returned. "You escaped us. Time to return."
Mango Meowed a quiet meow and settled down for a nap. "Sigh. Oh well. We'll just wait until the professor goes away." There was another knock on the door, louder this time. "Hello? Is Anyone in there?" the professor called. My body shuddered at the sound of his voice. "Shhh..." I said to Mango, but the cat was already asleep. I scooped up Mango and started for the back door, but my captor had gathered enough strength to tip himself over. THUNK. "Ah, now I KNOW someones in there, and frankly I do like being ignored!"
"Ah, there he is now." As he turned to open the door, I pulled out my wand and froze him in place. "That school might have been full of murderers and cultists, but at least they taught me something." I reached for a chair and barricaded the door. "Now, me and Mango are getting out of here. Isn't that right Mango?"The cat meowed happily. "Good. Now, for you," I said, turning toward the man. "It was quite sneaky of you to call the professor, wasn't it? Mango, what should we do with him?"
"What?" I cried. This man was threatening to take me back to the very place I had just escaped from. "In fact, I already called your professor." My face went white with terror as I picked up Mango and started petting her vigorously. "Wha- No- You can't-" I stammered. Then there was a knock on the door.
