Lila grew up to become an FBI agent and Thera works full time at a women’s and children’s shelter.
Lila grew more disheartened as she encountered many criminals that could not be stopped. in the case of one hostage situation Lila worried SWAT would not be enough. Knowing Thera’s special skillsets, she called her sister for help.
From then on, the two used Lila’s insider knowledge and Thera’s powers to rescue would-be victims of kidnappings and violent crimes together.

Thera was born with her powers, but she didn’t use them much growing up other than compensating for her visual impairment. She began losing sight in elementary school and will likely be completely blind by the time she reaches her mid-thirties. She never knew her father but doesn’t really mind. She has a loving mother and stepfather and that is enough for her.
Her own childhood was happy, but she had to witness the long custody battle between her stepfather and his ex-wife over her stepsister, Lila. Lila eventually came to live with her family after years of neglect at the hands of her mother. Thera and Lila became best friends. In high school they began volunteering to help less fortunate children together.
