Speed Star was a Astronaut on a mission to land on a star. But the star blew up on their way there. The ship which Speed Star was in blew into hundreds of pieces.

Speed Star was the closest one to the star though. And the star gave him a power... A power of super speed. he could also survive in space now.

After a few years of Speed Star being knocked out and floating in space, a space ship past him. it stopped and cheeked if he was still alive. And to their surprise he was!
