I wanna continue with the whole liminal theme but my issue is that I don’t want to just replicate textures of levels, slap them onto Minecraft skins and call it a day. For example I would wanna just create a level 0 wall and some brown carpet and call it level 0. I’d wanna create something that actually feels liminal, which is often why I struggle to come up with ideas. I also don’t feel as nostalgic anymore looking at level 0 than I do other places. I do have the next level in mind I would like to look at though. Incorporating it into a design is another thing.
I cannot wait to see what else you make for the liminal themed skins, but I can totally understand that. Successfully mimicking a liminal space and translating it into a skin is hard enough, but making it unique and ensuring that it still feels liminal without just slapping the texture on a skin is definitely tricky. I'm not that nostalgic when it comes to Level 0 either, but I am curious to see which level you're going for next.
