Automatonophobia

This skin is supposed to explore the themes of body horror, body dysmorphia and automatonophobia.

This creature is meant to be eerie mysterious and incredibly unsettling. You’ll always see it in the corner of your eyes just staring at you with its soulless hollowed eye sockets. It has no eyeballs and its head is hollowed out. It simply watches and breathes. It is covered in blood from head to toe almost as if it were a creature turned inside out. Whether it is animal or human is unclear. Its limbs are thin and fragile to the point where this being looks like it has been starved. It has never been seen moving, just staring and standing still in the distance. As you get closer to it, if you were to see it, it disappears. Its chest is opened up to reveal a giant maw which is only visible if you get close enough to it. This chest is opened because the skin on the chest has been stretched to the back of the creature much like the rest of its skin.
