Rift

Rift was a kid named Ryan Jordan, only 12, but he was the most popular kid, being smart and charming, in school! One day he stood up for some twins being bullied, and, his popularity dropped. When at a science museum a bully pushed him past a line of caution tape that marked a particle transporter's particle field, and he absorbed some of the particles! The transporter became unstable and blew up resulting in no casualties, but one of Ryan's bullies broke his arm. Ryan was the only without injury, because he had powers, slight super speed, super strength, and teleportation. He however did not have super durability so he can still be hurt by any average Joe. He did not know this however and subconsciously teleported to safety rising his social status up to almost the same level as it had been before.
