Deadpool, a fictional character, is featured in American comic books released by Marvel Comics. The character was brought to life by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld, and made his debut in New Mutants #98 in December 1990. Initially, Deadpool is portrayed as a supervillain of the New Mutants and X-Force, but as the storyline progresses, he evolves into an antihero.
