I'm going to do something a little bit different today. I've been studying the gospels the last few weeks and I want to share a chapter I came across, Mark 13.
Since the verses won't all fit in this description, I will put them in the comments (it's best if you sort by oldest).

Mark 13 is introduced with Jesus' disciples in awe of the temple and its structure; but Jesus said to them that there will not be one stone left on top of one another, and all will be thrown down.
His disciples asked Him when this will take place and what would be the signs. Though, Jesus never told them the 'when' of this prophecy, because He himself does not know, nor anyone in heaven or earth, except for God.

It is crucial that we remember the signs Jesus told them:
There will be false prophets who claim to be or see Christ (v.5-6, 21-22).
Nations will fight one another, and there will be earthquakes and famines (v.7-8).
Christians will be hated, tried, and persecuted, but will continue to spread the gospel (v.9-13).

This is what it will be like before Christ returns, and if you haven't repented and accepted Jesus as your savior, it won't be so good for you.
He could be here at any moment, so be ready!

What is this book?
This is the Bible. It's the written Word of God and the ultimate set of guiding principles for all the people of God. Through these writings, God communicates his will, his laws, his nature, and his saving purpose to humanity.
It answers the biggest questions of life, such as 'where did I come from?', 'what is my purpose?', and 'where am I going?'.
It is also divided into two parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament. The chapter I mentioned in this post is in the NT and in one of the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).

I suggest you take a look for yourself, and feel free to ask more questions.
