So, how are things?

I've been using this website for a long time. just to make skins for myself and my friends, so that's why you don't see much skins for people on here lol in fact I don't have any, and I think that you don't even need followers to show that you're a fantastic skinner, and I think you don't have to worry about anything on here because nobody is holding you back. for now apparently it's just yourself wondering if you're popular or not, trust me. I think 639 followers is incredible! I'm sure you'll do just fine! <33

Honestly, I think the whole concept of followers and likes is kind of unimportant. While being popular is pretty cool, it's not necessary imo. I stopped caring about likes and followers long ago and I've felt better ever since. To me, the only person you should impress is yourself. At least that's my two cents

Before I go on, let me just take a moment to thank everyone who commented on my last announcement. You’ve all shown me that even though I might not seem to have as many followers as some other skinners, the ones I do have are some of the kindest people out there!

Anyway, the past week has been?? interesting, I guess. The recovery started off pretty decently, but Sunday night was a bit rough for reasons unrelated to MC skins. I used the extra time to catch up on PMC and work on my October series, but in both cases I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to.
Tbf, there was a big storm on Wednesday, and that distracted me quite a bit because I’m just SORT OF into that stuff (and by sort of, I mean I was checking windy.com every few minutes). Also, college assignments are a thing that exists??

But I think you all know what’s coming next, and that’s what happened on Thursday night. I found out that gum met up with moh IRL, which made me really upset about how little I’ve achieved despite being older than her. I vented my frustrations on Birb’s server, and it got pretty heated. People started telling me I care way too much and that it doesn’t matter, and at the age of (nearly) 20, I should be thinking about more important things. That’s not entirely wrong, but they could have said it a lot more nicely.

I did get some good things out of that evening. Lam came on, and basically said what the others did, but she was so much nicer about it, and she even tried to clear up some of my concerns I had about taxes. Then people tried to reassure that I wasn’t actually small or slow growing, my timing was juts unlucky, and skindex is currently in a lull.. But that made me even more upset, because I COULD have been there for the golden age if I started just a LITTLE earlier. I was so distraught that I could barely sleep that night, and much of Friday was pretty tough going too.

I did get a lot of responses over the next two days. Some people told me I cared way too much. But then some others (including gum and moh themselves!) came along and told me I’m actually not too late, and that the Marketplace teams wouldn’t care that I don’t have thousands of followers, as long as I can make good skins.
And that right there, was the best thing I’ve been told this week :)

But that’s the past, let’s get onto the present and future. I’ve done a big update to my Discord server, and it’s now a community server!

I’m also finally working on a new video for my own Youtube channel, and while it MIGHT still be out on Sunday, I’d say Monday is a more realistic release target. Right now, I have yet to do the outro, music, thumbnail, and most important of all, the cover skin!

From the 2nd of October onwards, I’ll be doing a very special series, where I release a new skin representing me at a different age every day, all the up to age 20 on my birthday, which is the 22nd. I am having a bit of difficulty with some of the ages, especially the younger ones, but things are coming together now Hopefully I’ll be able to stick to the release schedule for that series!
