Pedro Hernandez was a boy who worked for his father's company, until he found a robotic spider, which upon seeing it joined his body. Pedro, seeing that the spider was problematic, He decides to hide his identity as Spider-Light.

Within a few months his father discovered a symbiote, he experimented on the creature, but the symbiote escaped and bonded with him, then Spider-Light fought with it and in the battle he lost his arm, but the spider built him a new one.
