Iris is a male dragonborn of the Protector Guild who basically has a sort of hero complex. He's very loyal but once his trust is broken, he will never forgive you. He unintentionally acts like a dad toward people he likes, offering support, protection and barbecue meals, which he makes with his fire magic.

On his back, he has his guild's sigil, that being a shield, and he carries a sword in case his fire magic isn't viable to use. Yes, he has claws, but no-one wants to fight with just their bare hands.
