The kingdom was falling. Everywhere he looked, darkness overtook light, screams were silenced, and hope was shattered. If he was to survive, he would have to act fast. He brought out a gold and emerald talisman, his new invention that would ward death, and stabbed himself to finish the ritual. The world went dark as the sculk overtook him, leaving him wondering if it worked. out of the darkness came a voice: "now that's new. none of them have tried that before." who was this? "it defies all natural law! we should kill it." a second voice said. was this the sculk speaking?! "ah it can hear us! truly marvelous." the first voice said. "this could help us... I still say we destroy it." a spear of fear went through him as he realized the voices were talking about him. "please, don't kill me! I'll do what you want!" a long silence. "you will." said the voice. and then silence
