Shoe moar :]
Hello everyone! Welcome to my hueshifting tutorial!
No need to credit me if you use, but credit if you repost!
How to make a hueshift/gradient (back, blue)
1. Color each section of your palette on your skin in order of brightness.
2. Seperate each color and progressively lighten to make an almost-gradient.
3. Adjust shades to make a proper gradient
4. Ta-da!
Front: Effects of different hueshifts.
Both gradients were built from the same shade of purple.
Skins with cool shading and warm highlights (left):
- appear to be glowing
- have more obvious shading
- tend to appear cool-toned
Skins with warm shading and cool highlights (right):
- appear to have light cast on them
- have softer shading
- tend to appear warm-toned
Bonus (sides and top)
On the sides are two gradients made with one shade of green to show the effects of different amounts of color change.
Right side has a very subtle hueshift (small section of the color wheel)
The left side has a HUGE hueshift (large portion of the color wheel).
Top shows the best color for hueshifting (change my mind)
Feel free to use the palettes on the back to practice!
Have a nice day/night <333
