Lore:
At Restoration HQ, Solar was grieving the loss of Umbra, clutching his scarf close to him whenever he'd think of Umbra. He'd help Tails try to find a cure for the virus, staying as far away from Sonic whenever he entered the lab. The day that Restoration HQ fell, he and Baxter were able to get to the escape ship. Solar looked back to see that Vector was going to stay behind to buy the others time. Solar knew that it wouldn't be possible on his own, so he gave Espio his scarf and tackled one of the Zombots that was on top of Vector before Gemerl was able to fully shut the doors. Espio gave Baxter his friend's scarf, as Baxter fell to his knees, in the same state of shock and sadness as the reptilian ninja.
