Death. Everyone will one day experience it, and young people don't seem to care about it. But first, we must talk about the opposite.

Imagine us as a simple two dimensional puzzle. Imagine the puzzle pieces as parts of the body. Each one fits perfectly in its spot. Each piece does nothing by itself, but once all the pieces are put into place...

...you suddenly get a breathing, moving, thinking, person. You.

Imagine we set the puzzle outside. It rains. The sun beats down on it. The pieces shrivel and fade.
A perfect example of aging.

Eventually, one or multiple pieces will be too damaged, and will no longer fit the puzzle. And as easily as it began, the spell is broken. You die.

In this case, let's say there's no afterlife. (I'm not saying there isn't.)

When you sleep without dreaming it seems like no time has passed. But what if there's never a time to wake up and realize how it felt? As though reality never existed. Your family never existed. As though YOU didn't exist. You wouldn't even know you did.

If you only have one chance at life, how will you spend it? Who will you spend it with? How will you be remembered? Will you have regrets?





Will you accept death?
