I don't know how many people will see this but uh- Either way, I'd like to say a few things.

I joined skindex 1.5 years ago. No experience with shading. No experience with anything. For me, it all started with this skin: https://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/19597439/dirtman/

I was bad at skinning, and stopped after merely a couple skins. This is where skinners end. Giving up.

6 months later however, I came back, with a goal to learn how to make skins, no matter what it took. I practiced and practiced. The more I practiced, the more growth I could see in myself.

In 1.5 years, I've created 700 skins. And yet, I'm still chasing after getting better.

The important thing here, is ANYONE can be a good skinner. It doesn't HAVE to require previous skill. I came in with nothing, and came out with more than I'd hoped for.

My point is, anybody out there, whether good at skinning or not- Everyone can learn. I've even reached points where I thought I couldn't get any better. But I did.

I hope to inspire at least one person with this. It does NOT take skill, to create skill.
