Heyyyyyy, THIS I really like. I always love good texturing like this, it's pleasing to see.
I work hard on this skin the someone says it looks like I used the texture tool? Not appreciated. It’s obvious I didn’t because the texturing tool has different colors every pixel. My skin has patches of the same color, trying to indicate light sourcing and custom texturing.
They did say thanks. Though it was followed by that emoji thing so possibly
It’s called sarcasm
WickedWendigo's reaction to your criticism mostly gave me the idea that they weren't particularly open to it

When and where exactly did they make it clear that they wanted no criticism? Because cannot see where anything of that matter is stated.

I like this, but could you make another one with 4 px arms? Thx.
Even if the tool isn't used anymore, why does the skin *looking* like it was used make it worse? If an artist doesn't want criticism, they don't want criticism, plain and simple. It was clear that WickedWendigo didn't want any. Not everyone finds it helpful, and not everyone wants criticism. No matter how helpful it may seem, a creator may just want to show their hard work. They have pride in their creation, and they don't want anyone interfering with it. I understand that you may think it's helpful, but it's better to only give criticism when the artist directly asks for it. Otherwise, again, it can hurt the artist more than it can help.
However, I do understand what your saying.

Nobody uses that tool anymore. And I stated that it looks like it was used. Nowhere did I definitively state such tool was among many used to create this skin. While yes, some artists may take criticism poorly, it does not mean it cannot be given. Criticism is given to almost any creative form. You can’t just simply block out criticism. As I previously stated, it can, indeed, help one grow. Every time I make a skin, I show it to my brother and ask for criticism, and I find it very helpful. You act as though I am simply saying that the skin is horrific, when in all reality I am simply giving advice to the artist to have more prospects in the future. Criticism must be given, else no one can grow. And it is in no way negative.

You don't have to bring unsolicited criticism either. Sometimes it's more demotivating and upsetting than it is helpful. If an artist wants criticism, they will ask for it.
It also doesn't help an artist grow if you don't give a reason why a specific element is bad, or an alternative to that element. Going along with this, why is the texturize tool considered bad? How does it remove from the quality in any way shape or form? (Although it's pretty obvious that such a tool wasn't used.)
