I think that its good I just think you need to work more on the blending I understand that you were looking for the more stripy look but looking at photo reference will show that there is more of a blending look ofc this is excluded in photos there there's water reflections or a shadow between the person/object and the light source.

I see that dakrx said to focus on the darkening which i agree lightsorcing is more about contrast which is something i struggle with, I tend to limit myself as well but just keep practicing and it will get easier.

Also this is constructive criticism, I think that this is great. Keep up the hard work! :D
This is so good <33333

If I tried mine would look like a trash can lmaoo
i don't know much about lightsourcing, but my general advice is to not be scared. I think you limited yourself with the shading, which caused the skin to look as if there were stripes around it, which is not what we want. I'd say to emphasize more the darker areas, and keep the lightning minimum, but make it stand out. Using really dark colors for the darkest shade tone (for example: black) could make the lighting stand out more. If you want more tips- i can send you some examples of how *i* generally lightsource skins (ion know how tho- if u have discord or anything lmk if u want the examples)
i kind of wanted it to have the kind of striped look, and to focus more on lighting than darkenning
after all, it is called lightsourcing, not darskourcing
looks great wouldn't change a thing. :)

that's really rude
Nice! I was thinking of light sourcing at some point :>
Oof
Pretty good... I guess. Not a huge fan of the eyes and shading but it's a good skin
I like it, the non-complexity (idk if the a word) and, use of easy to shade colors is good, though, the changing the eye color is not very appealing.
I also that you could choose between hard and soft lightsourcing.
Overall it is a good skin.
