rui miller, also known as the shikoku ghost, was the new promise of kendo. at least thats what everyone thought before a fatal acl injury.
after retiring from kendo, miller received a call from his mom, asking him to help on her research of an endemic spider being held at australia, his mom's native country.

it was not that bad after all, rui was so passionate about both things, so he thought it wouldnt be too bad to dedicate his life to the animal life instead.

an unexpected bite caused by the scorpion orb weaver left rui miller with brand new abilities, not to mention his acl injury was pretty much cured.

wanting to spread the good news, rui called his dad to announce his big return to kendo again! but, life had other plans...

"my father... died?"

that was just not possible, rui's father was young and healthy, "theres something i dont know yet about my father's death and i will do whatever it takes to discover it."

the 23 year old kendo star headed to japan, carrying his old shinai and wearing his new suit.

with a deadly fighting style but a calm and peaceful aura, "arachinari" patrols the westcoast of japan.
