ima do bottom cause top is just checkered pattern

chose a color for starting point
put in the center 4 pixels
if your doing gradient to another color like blue to red go ever so slightly around the color wheel, if doing black to white do lightening the color using the tool, if doing white to black use darkening tool.
put next color around the other color
!!***!!!DONT OVERLAP THE COLORS!!!***!!
then repeat

not that hard if your not thinking about it
overlap as in same color touching same color, other then at very starting point and at ending
