For some reason it didn't work for me? My friend couldn't see me skin, instead saw some random skin that I had never seen before. Do you know how to fix that?

assuming you're on java (because that's the version where these skins work) you have to download the skin and then open Minecraft and go to skins and make a new skin and upload the skin you downloaded then save and click use to use the skin.

if this isn't your problem then I'm not sure what you could do maybe ask a friend or family member to see if something is wrong.
