Ever since this happened, they hacked Dr eggmans Outpost and caused him to retreat after all the genocide Eggman created. The Jackal Squad also made peace with Sonic the Hedgehog. Together, they helped create the first Mercenary Clan in Mobius prime with the help of the government of Spagonia, which is the Mobian Continent where Mortizs Girlfriend, Scarlet The Jackal lives. Scarlet is one of the 250 Warriors/Medics that help every member of the Jackal Squad to heal Their injuries.

Mortizs own merit earnings "which is indicated by the orange colors added to his gloves and boots" shows his skills with both Working with his hands, and his combat skills. Thankfully, he and his girlfriend are both in the reserves of the jackal squad, so they dont have to be in heavy combat unless they volunteer. Trois the Jackal is like a sister to Mortiz, and like Mortiz, she didnt have any siblings. So they take after Sonics example of "if you dont have any siblings, you can always choose your best friends to be your siblings."
