Poem: The Sun is Like.....

The sun is like a lovers gentle kiss
That warms my skin and makes my heart light
It makes me smile and lifts my mood to bliss
And gives me hope in in times of strife

The sun is like a friend who cheers me up
Who brightens every day with golden light
It fills the day and overflows my cup
And makes me grateful for the gift of sight

The sun is like a guide who leads the way
Who shows me where to go and what to do
It marks the seasons and the time of day
And teaches me to always be true

The sun is more than a ball of fire
It is a source of life, of love, of ire
