"Aunt Alex," I said, "Did you ever find out what happened to Steve?"

"He passed of age during one of his science experiments." Alex said. "Steve died before your parents died."

I looked back at the large bookshelf in the corner of the room.

"Alex..."

"Yes?"

"Did you ever find where Steves lab was?..."

"No... why?"

I walked towards the bookshelf with my gaze fixed.
All the books seemed to have random patterns on them. Or at least they SEEMED random.

"Have you ever rearranged these books?..." I ask.

"Nope."

I walked directly in front of the bookshelf. The patterns seemed to repeat themselves from left to right.

"Its an autostereogram." I say.

"A what?"

"An autostereogram. If you cross your eyes..."

The patterns moved closer together as my eyes crossed.

"...then a picture appears."

The patterns merged together to create a 3 dimensional image. A giant number 7 popped out into my vision.

"7... 7..." What did it mean? "7th book?"

I step over to it and gently take it off the shelf. I carefully open its dusty pages. Then I realize every page is the same. Its a riddle.
