Maxs voice is loud and clear as he counts down.

"5."

I breathe in deep. I may never touch earth again.

"4."

I look over at the other 2 space pods. Tianna piloting the left one, Lily piloting the right one.

"3."

The engines are heard roaring to life. The space pods computers say to us, "System checks complete."

"2."

I take one last look at the base.

"1."

I start pulling back the thrust lever, ready for liftoff.

"Ignition."

Our pods release and are launched at high speeds into the sky. The G forces press my skull back into my seat. Finally, the feeling releases as we reach space.

Earth is beautiful.

"Engines off." I say through my helmet to the others.

"Do you see the giant red button with several warnings next to it?" I ask them.

"Yeah..." they both say.

"Press it."

The engines charge up and blast with the force of 1000 suns.

Then the computer system says something we didnt expect.

"Mach 1."

The engine sounds grow quiet. As if it is having a hard time catching up...

"Mach 2."

Stronger G forces.

"Mach 4."

I can see the Wither Storm.

"Mach 7."

"Hang on!"

"Mach 10," it says as we shoot like a bullet right through the Wither Storms thick skin.
