its checkers for me

I usually just paint over the entire image (that's including the non-skin parts of the image), and then I press the "upload from computer" button, then I erase the colored parts from the paint on the outer layer. Boom, you got your tinted skin.

hah usually i have to go into an art software, draw something with the colors and shading im using

then paint over it with the tint color with less opacity
then pick up that color and see what it looks like in the hex bar or whatever

there's gotta be a better way lol
