second time working with only grayscale, and i can strongly say its better than the last time :D

basically, the story behind this is that she (the angel) is the guardian of a town, then the town got raided and burnt to the ground by bandits, so she was left to fall into disrepair. The reason she is a statue is that the townspeople begged her to save herself so she could live on, and she complied because of a complicated wish thingy the leader gets once a life. After one hundred years, the spell started wearing off, and that's why there is a little flower on her shoulder. :)
