last night, i was praying for several people, and i noticed that i was asking God to give them patience to get through whatever it was that i was praying for. after i finished praying, i looked for verses about patience since i suddenly realized its importance, so here’s a verse i found:

romans 5:3-4 says: “we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience experience; and experience, hope.”

if KJV phrasing is a bit confusing for you, it’s basically saying that going through hard times gives you patience, and by being patient you will gain experience and hope <3

if you’re dealing with something difficult and unpleasant, i encourage you to ask God for the patience to deal with that however you need to <33

also, if you know Abram’s story, God promised him a child, but after his wife, Sarai was unable to have a child, he got impatient and had a child with her servant. God provided for this child (Ishmael) and his mother, but in His own time, also gave Abram Isaac through Sarai. if God has something for you, He’ll make sure you receive all that He has promised in the end ;)
