Ok so lately I’ve been trying to improve my skins with new shading and stuff, but now I’m getting even LESS likes, and I feel like I need some help. Anyone got any tips? Thanks!

A tip; Think realistic for lightsourcing, where would the light come from, which direction? Use a lighter shade, add texture if you wish.
For Hair? Search up references, go to the top skins page or anywhere else you could find references.
I see you have fades and gradients down, now try to maneuver those gradients around the simple part of your shading. Take the shading to the extreme, lighten or darken the shadows until you cannot.
If you don't want your skins to be over-complicated or too hard to create, simplify it.
Know that these's are only tips and suggestions, I don't which for my words to be offensive.
Good luck.
Thanks, this is super super helpful:)
Ok, thank u sm
References, are always great to use. If you wish not too, pull something from the deepest corner of your imagination and create it.

Yes it did! I will definitely be trying these, thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it! Thank you!
Inspiration and not copying and things like that are great!

Ofc!
I usually create things from the heart, but lately I’ve been wading into deeper waters and using inspiration. I make sure to never copy but every once in a while if the skin just doesn’t look right I borrow color scheme ideas from other ppl. I hope this helped!

some tips:
- search for tutorials! wheter on skindex or youtube, people have created step by step processes. jingles has hair, skin, and clothing tutorials on her channel (https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC-3gUF4YUbwXCU5JK3-nRAA/videos)
- take inspiration! look on namemc, skindex, and pmc for the top skins, you can even take aspects of their designs and put them on your skin (with credits of course)
- try new things! experimenting is very useful when trying to develop a new style, don't be afraid to do that
Ok, thanks so much! These also seem really helpful. Tutorials are definitely a good idea. Again thanks so much!
