You don't need curseforge! All you need is an app called OptiFine. To install OptiFine, there are many tutorials, but this one I find the most useful: www.selecthub.com/resources/how-to-install-optifine

After that, it is quite easy to install shaders (just make sure your computer is good enough to handle them!)
