...gather around the Tall Rock for a clan meeting! (TITLE)

Bumbleberry woke up suddenly, her breath coming in fast, uncontrollable puffs. Twisting her silky neck in panic, she tried shaking away the fit but doubled over in pain. Tinypaw, her young apprentice, crouched beside her patiently and she panted, “g-get some honey or juniper leaves.” Doing as instructed, he returned in an instant and she chewed up the juniper leaves, sighing in relief but feeling tears well in her eyes. A black-and-white head poked through the hanging lichen, and Berryfur padded over, looking annoyed to cover up her worry lines. “Bumbleberry, this has been happening since your last trip to the Moonpool! Can you PLEASE tell me why you can’t tell me? Or even your apprentice?” Tinypaw looked away. Bumbleberry wiped away her tears and bit back a sob.

Before her mind could even process a new fully-developed plan, she fled from the den, leaped atop the Tall Rock and yowled, “Let all cats old enough to run the moor gather around the Tall Rock for a clan meeting!” After a second a few cats appeared, then Fernpelt exclaimed, “hey, you aren’t Goldenstar!” A shadow crossed hers, and turning, she saw Goldenstar making his way up the rocks and looking sadly at her. Bracing for a lecture, she nearly fell off the Tall Rock when he smiled and said, “You remind me of Rosewillow.”
