Well, how I do is that I open the outfit base on my alt's editor, and open the hair base on this account's editor. Lets say I'm starting with the left arm. I take the first pixel on the outfit base, color pick it, copy the color code, and then copy it into my second editor, and place that color where ever it is needed. It's a very long process, and rather draining, but it's very fulfilling once you finish the whole thing. I also make sure to fill in any exposed areas (such as the holes in ripped jeans) with the skin tone and then do the skin shading. I have heard of a website that allows you to compress the hair base and outfit base together, but I haven't done any research into it. I prefer to do it all by hand.
