he is a war criminal from the dimensions wars that was sent to the nether fortes a maximum security prison in the nether to be kept locket up. The nether guards used obsidian and pieces of the dragon egg to in capsulate him ,and a hundred years after he was locket up some form of dark magma said to be made by the wither sols encapsulate him and gave him the power to melt his armor and chains and escape.
