so a couple people have asked for shading help so here are some simple tips that will help your shading and help you improve.

before i start tho, just remember, even if your shading isn't the best right now, every skinner has started off like that but you keep trying and keep practising and your shading will get much better<3

1. other skinners! so you may like certain skinner shading, right? but dont have one of your own. you can try a different skinner's shading, as long as you make sure to credit, you can improve and slowly, adapt it into something of ur own <33

2. Elfie! there is an amazing skinner on youtube called Elfie; they give many shading tips and videos, hue shifting, outer layer and more! It is really helpful and you can learn a lot from them <33

3. Skindex schools/tutorials! there are many skindex schools that you can join which can help a lot of many skinners post shading tutorials too!

so next i'm going to post a few types of simple hair shading that you can try!

hope I've helped!

so do i :D
I personally use a shading style I have adapted from my irl art, though I think it isn't very great for minecraft skins and doesn't fit very much but it is still fun to use. Ofc i have a lot of room for improvement so I appreciate the help.
