Eva spent her whole life in luxury. She was born in the Kingdom of Kethal, daughter of King Emanuel. The kingdom thrived with life and riches, even the commonfolk ate well and lived like lords. However, the good fortune didn't last long. On her fourteenth birthday, her kingdom struck ill. The livestock fell sick, crops dried up and perished, and a great plague devastated the land. Throughout the chaos, Evangeline's mother caught the plague and died. This caused her father great grief and a sickness-- one of the mind-- caught up with him. His kindness turned sour and his rule became cruel. He wrote out laws that would strengthen his rule and further endow his riches-- all of which took from the commonfolk. Eventually, the peasants rebelled and swore to slay the royal family. King Emanuel was slain, but Evangeline escaped. Scared and alone, she treks through the dangerous wilderness with nothing but hope at her side. As she dodges attacks from trolls, dragons, and the supernatural, Eva grows and learns from her mistakes. One day, Princess Evangeline will return to Kethal to reclaim her name, title, and dignity. One day.
