Ok! If anyone has already thought this... I ain't seen it yet! Anyway...

It's the Delta Rune. Not Deltarune, Delta Rune.
Well, see this? That it in armour.
What if the Delta Rune - as a living thing, like this - could be the final boss / secret boss of chapter 7 in Deltarune! Or some other chapter..
Oh Or Maybe Chapter 7 Could Just Be Undertale Remade???
