Optimus Prime (G1)

Optimus Prime was the leader of the heroic Autobots. For millennia the Autobots waged war on the evil forces of the Decepticons lead by the villainous Megatron. Optimus fought Megatron hundreds of times each time sparing his opponents life or failing to hit him at point-blank range. This cycle of death and destruction continued until the Battle of Autobot City when Optimus and Megatron waged their final battle which ended in both being mortally wounded. Despite Perceptor and Ultra Magnus' best efforts Optimus Prime succumbed to his injuries and died passing on the Autobot Matrix of Leadership and the title of Prime to Hot Rod. Optimus was later resurrected twice. The first as mindless zombie and the second as his old self. He later sacrificed his life by fusing with Vector Sigma in order to save it from destroying Cybertron. He has since been revived again and is leading the Autobots in searching Minecraft for Decepticons and the Ender Dragon.
