Blue & purple effects

First you choose the colors you want on the outer layer. Those colors will show up glowy. The colors for that part in this skin are purple. Next, you put checker all over the skin with the color/colors you chose. You then pick the color you will use on the outer layer, for this skin it was blue. Staying on the inner layer you will put checkers in the spots where there is not the inner layer colors. After you do that all over the skin, go to outer layer. Use the same color and put checkers only on the parts with the inner layer c0olor. After you do that on the whole skin, you are done.
