Trying to base it off of the turtles I own in real life: Sylvester, Egyptian, and Hachiko. Many markings arebased directly off of theirs.

(Disclaimer: do NOT get aquatic turtles/terrapins, unless you want and are prepared to spend every weekend cleaning poop-marinated aquarium filters every day for their entire lives. They are expensive, messy, high-maintenance, large pets that require a lot of space.)
