I think if you simplify your shading, it would look a lot better. Sometimes a skin need less single pixels and more connected ones. I suggest using other people styles for inspiration, then changing it to fit your style! Also hue shifting is one of the most helpful techniques ever. Hope this helps! ~Azalea ❀
to much gradient make sure you have solid lines of shade and highlights they can blend abit but when gradient goes to much it looks like a mess as far as shadow location you have the right places same with highlights I would recommend elvenjedi's video on hue shifting color wise mochi has some good videos on color theory so you could also check that out
Thank u all so much for telling me what I could do better
I will work on it and find what shading looks like shading
oh another note: I personally wouldn't use such desaturated colors, and the hair down the back looks a little strange. I like to either do long hairz or no hair down the back, because medium length just doesn't look right (imo)
i think from the front, it looks pretty nice , it looks as though it has patches of light that separate the dark. maybe something that could change would be the sides of the arms and legs, because they look flat to me, unless that is what youre going for.

maybe having all the colors look more similar to one color (maybe darker purple) so it goes together without changing too much of the current colors on the skin?

i like it though, kewl skin
I think that the shading is great, especially the the hair! But for me, the colors feel too bright and out of place, like they just don't match. Hope this helps
I absolutely love the hair shading and colors, but the rest of it is a little grainy and pixelated for my taste. I personally like a very simple and blocky style, where there isn't as much shading: there's simply a light area, and a dark area. there should be a little bit of gradient, but not as much as you've got here

I wouldn't personally use this color combination either (blue, black, magenta, yellow), because it just doesn't really make sense

also they eyebrows should be a brown with a blue/purple hue, instead of green
Damn the shading is sick
hmm my advice would be to try out hue shifting and less harsh shading!! I also think it's a tad bit too pixelly but the hair is pretty ! for the eyelashes, I recommend hue shifting like u did with the hair so that it all blends nicely together :D but good work ! keep going (:
nice!
uh the shading is
not very realistic .>.
but nice!
