Idk reminds me of deep sea or smth. Supposed to kinda be a parallel to my Traveling through galaxies skin, which has a similar design but is space themed.

There's a tool you can use, it looks like a sharpie with a plus or minus. That's how almost all creators do it, though it makes a rather large difference in color. I have seen lots of people doing this.

nope. Most experience skinners avoid using that tool. (It doesnt give as good colors as hand picking shades)
