Shadefolk (Zombies)

True speakers of the void magic, the Shadefolk serve as sentinels of Arkhalis's galaxy. The Shadefolk are some of the most adept wielders of void magic. They have developed cults and creeds, devoted to the void magic. Shadefolk are born in a solid state but to the climate of Orion, the young Shadefolk begin to deteriorate and break down. Very soon in their lives they turn into a gas like state of sentience. They can roam freely and fly around in the gas state but it is seen as honorable if you allow the elder Shadefolk put you, Shadefolk gasforms in crystalized habitation suits. these suits contain the young and allow them to engage in physical activities and allow Shadefolk to speak. The habitation suits allow the centration of void magic to be increased, in turn purifying the void magic making it stronger. Shadefolk make towers and buildings float with the void magic, they are known for their flying civilizations and cities. (Only true way to "kill" a shadeperson is by destroying their chest heart)
