Nightmare collects the crystals before the group can, and manages to create the hero before them. Fulfilling his goal.

“Gen, step forward.”

The violet steve stepped out of the shadows, with a smug look on his face.

“what’s up, nightmare? finally giving me the makeover you spoke of?”

nightmare sighs, and points to the machine.

“Here. The machine which will drain the crystals and give you the power of the hero. We are making history here, Gen. try not to mess up the machine.”

Gen laughs nervously, and enters the machine. A harsh, white light shines from the machine, while sabre and orange watch from afar, panicked.

“wh-what was that? wh-what’s in the machine?”

“did we lose? did he make the hero before us?”

the harsh light fades, barely stopping nightmares machine from going haywire.


and once the smoke cleared, a multi-coloured steve comes out.

Gen, once a sly, lazy mentalist who had nothing better to do than prank villagers, was now given the power of a demigod.

The machine is opened, and gen steps out.
