The violet steves are stronger than they look.
They are the steves of love, and freedom.
Both of which are ambitions worth fighting for.

The way they speak allows them to manipulate others into doing whatever they say, using an ability called charmspeak.

Though only stronger violets hold this ability, it is extremely useful against a physically stronger foe.

and, with love, there is also freedom.

and for freedom, rebellion must first come.

Though they are usually peaceful steves, the powers they hold increases their resistance to attacks based on how much emotion is evolved in the fight.

The less emotion the enemy shows, the more resilience the violet steves get.

Their Greek ancestry is still somewhat retained, and they still know how to fight, since fencing is an activity often done during festivals.

They work very well with other steves, since they are better at supporting others than fighting themselves . if it weren’t for their kind hearts, a violet steve could definitely fight better than a yellow or orange steve.
